Came across Zenphoto today. The software seems to be a very clean and efficient way to post your photos online without all the bloated “extras” that sometimes leaves you with that “so much to do” feeling. I hope this continues to be developed.

Newt has a good point
Newt Gingrich on the Katrina disaster:
“If we can’t respond faster than this to an event we saw coming across the Gulf for days, then why do we think we’re prepared to respond to a nuclear or biological attack?” -via cnn.com
Good point…

Liberal Media
WTF. Tonight on NBC’s evening news (why I even bother to watch is beyond me), they released some “scientific” poll stating that people believe Bush would have acted faster, should the people in New Orleans had been white.
This pisses me off to the point where I can’t even think of a response other than [...]

Disturbing
First, as I stated in an earlier post:
I don’t offer a forum here because I don’t give a shit what you or anyone else thinks about my opinion…it’s mine and not up for argument.
That being said, let me just say that this story disturbs me. Taking “God” out the Pledge of Allegiance is one [...]

New Blackberry
This thing is going to be freakin’ sweet. I love my BlackBerry 7750, but will drop it in a heartbeat for their new device, which will have EV-DO and GPS built in:
He says the 8700 will be broadband-capable, with EVDO for Verizon, BB for SprintNextel, and EDGE for Cingular.
If athreya is right, the BlackBerry [...]

eBay pwns Skype…seriously
eBay has acquired Skype for $1.3 billion in cash and $1.3 billion in stock (yes, for a total of $2.6 billion)…which I find way overpriced for an overhyped company that barely makes $60 million per year; a figure that is very small in comparison to what eBay paid for it.
I like Skype, don’t get [...]

New server
The guys over at Interknox Networks notified me today that I was moved to a new server. I’m not sure of the specifics but the site is running 100x faster and I now have a huge amount of bandwidth to host my pr0n. Okay…that’s bullshit but still, you get my drift.
BTW…it’s good to [...]

WordPress conditional tags
I’m no programmer or hard-core web designer but WordPress motivates me to become one. First, I created my own theme. Next, I wanted to tweak the sidebar so that when a single post, archive listing, or category listing was displayed, it would show a plug-in that I have activated called “sameCat” (via category [...]

FireFox 1.5 beta 1 RC
Mozilla is asking people NOT to “jump the gun” here with this release. They recommend that only people who really want to test and try to find bugs download and use this version.
So, if that’s you, go for it.

Solar flare coming…
A large solar flare is headed this way, bringing possible disruptions in communications and electronic equipment. So tomorrow when your boss sends out a page or calls your cell, you can use that “I never got it” excuse and feel good about yourself.
Make sure you check up on the facts first…
