This scares me. They say everything will stay the same but rarely does this happen. I have a lifetime hosting account over there and I hope it stays the same, but only time will tell. TextDrive is a fun place to play with a website and linux, mainly because they have a “let’s load it and see what it does” attitude.
Joyent brings cool stuff to the table and I can see the merger on paper, but overall I hope TextDrive keeps the same open-minded attitude towards hosting and technology in general.
