Not very often does a evening news clip stir up such emotion. This is a wonderful story about an Autistic basketball player in New York. Some of you may have seen this, as I have no idea when this was on TV. Check it out.

Excellent MP3 site
No, not illegal music, rather good independent bands who have released a few of their tunes for you to enjoy. This “blog” type website has links to tons of music, most of it is great. Try out the 3Hive.

Greatest Picture EVER!
Thanks go to Pickens for the email. This picture is hilarious and could truely be the “greatest picture” of all time. Here is the caption:
The picture shows that this soldier has been thru Survival School and learned his lessons well. He’s giving the sign of “coercion” with his left hand. These hand signs [...]

Pigeon Forge
Just got back from Pigeon Forge, where as usual, it’s very scenic this time of year. I was lucky though, as it snowed pretty heavy while I was visiting, so I took a couple of pictures from the cabin. This one is from the front porch and this one is from the back [...]

Man hasn’t slept since ‘73
…or so the article reads. As usual, take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt, but this Vietnam man evidentally had a pretty nasty fever in 1973 which kept him from sleeping. Fast forward to 2006 and you’ll find he’s still awake and completely healthy. Crazy? Read and decide for yourself.

Old Apple advertisement
I found this old Apple ad humerous. It’s title: “How to send mail at 670,000,000 mph.” Good stuff.

Oracle wanted MySQL
This would suck balls. Oracle at one point offered to purchase MySQL, who turned them down. The CEO of MySQL had this to say about the Oracle bid: “We will be part of a larger company, but it will be called MySQL.” Rock on. Read the entire story behind this here.

NewEgg tour
I’m sure everyone reading this (the 10 of you subscribing to my RSS feed especially), have heard of NewEgg. Shipping 25,000 orders a day and stocking 60,000 different products in their warehouse, NewEgg is pretty impressive. Anandtech has a great article (with pics) on their site, that gives the reader a tour of NewEggs facility. [...]

Man arrested at BestBuy
Great story here about a man who went into BestBuy to pay a bill…only he paid the whole thing in $2 bills, which the stupid clerk thought were fake, called the cops, the man was arrested, the Secret Service were called…yada, yada, yada. All of this infront of shoppers. I hope the clerk was [...]

Friend makes Digg front page
Congrats to Dotson for making the front page of Digg today. His article “PayPal: Not as safe as you think“, has (as of this writing) 520 diggs. I hate the circumstances this has all came about, as PayPal really screwed Dotson over here. Read his story and learn from it.
