Although I am a loyal “VC” customer at TextDrive, I have another reseller hosting account to hosts sites for family, friends, and a few clients. I always have a watchful eye for the next big host (never to trump TextDrive of course). I came acroos Mosso, a pretty innovative host offering large resources for $100 a month.
There are a few downsides: no SSL, no custom nameservers, no auto-signup scripts (these three items are coming “soon”), and most importantly they do not have Zend or ionCube optimizer’s installed for their PHP installation. This means some PHP packages (like some forums, task management software, helpdesk software, etc.) will not run on their servers. I’m thinking these guys would be good for blog hosting and/or remote file storage. Did I mention they were in the RackSpace DC?
