These are 2 rather large (2gig and 840mb) torrent files containing the performances of a ton of bands at SXSW. I’m downloading now and once I do I’ll post my review of the bands. Here’s the link.

    I downloaded last years 2 gig torrent os the SXSW bands and finally deleted most of them from my iTunes collection. I kept a handful of the songs I really dug, but it was hard to waid through so much music. I would recommend keeping them out of your general collection until you find the ones you like. Some gems, but a LOT of weird crap too.

    Since they are released CC license, post the ones you like for your friends to sample. (Maybe use William’s “Music Player” from his website).
