Startup sound in Vista

Scobleizer has an article on the startup sound in Vista and how the user will not be able to turn it off.  Yes…it’ll be a mandatory sound that you have no control over.  I’m thinking someone, somewhere will hack this quickly and put out a patch.  It’s an interesting read, as the M$ team is really putting a lot into the opening sound to begin with.
