WordPress on a USB drive

This is pretty cool…although I can’t really see where I’d use it.  Maybe you would?!  :)   Anyway, it’s a neat way to load WordPress on a USB drive, using Webserver On a Stick (WOS).  The server on a stick thing seems kind of cool actually.  Here are the instructions.

Oracle wanted MySQL

This would suck balls.  Oracle at one point offered to purchase MySQL, who turned them down.  The CEO of MySQL had this to say about the Oracle bid:  “We will be part of a larger company, but it will be called MySQL.”  Rock on.  Read the entire story behind this here.

New domain, new site, new WordPress

Wow. Lot’s of moving around lately. It’s taken a few hours to get my DB moved over (thanks MySQL overhead) and upgraded to use the new version of WordPress.
