There are several articles out there from the press about he PS3 and the numerous pre-launch events taking place.  One of the big topics on everyone’s mind is HOW the games will look, and more importantly, how do they compare to the X360.  I’ve read through a few articles and this sentence sums up what I’ve been reading:

By and large, the games I saw looked BETTER than Xbox 360 games.

Lots of coverage on the PS3… in a nutshell, the one I want is the 60gig HDD version, priced at $599, due out in November.  Start saving… NOW.

Oh, and they even stuck with a revamped controller.  It looks just like the PS2 controller, but has more…stuff…on the inside.  Plus, it’s silver.  Whatever…just ship the damn things already.

On Tuesday I’ll be purchasing Black, a new game for the Xbox and PS2 that lets you blow up just about everything you can see.  Well, EA Games has released a hidden code that will allow you to unlock a “BFG” for those that pre-order.  Well…we have to love the google engine for bringing the code to everyone:  5SQQ-STHA-ZFFV-7XEV.  Enjoy (I know I will).
